We all have some sort of inner turmoil. On the physical plane, we know that there is no such thing as normal or perfect. This is about my experience of inner turmoil. This is tough, but it's something I have to do. *Sigh* Here we go...
For the past few years, I have been battling depression and anxiety. Whether it is stemmed from something that happened in my life or a chemical imbalance I was born with, I don't know. All I do know is that I have to work with it.
This depression causes me to be resistant to all good things in my life. This is why it is very important to me that I focus on my spirituality and the good people and things in my life. The good news is that I don't always feel this way. It comes in spurts. When it hits, it hits hard, but it doesn't last. I have found bliss. I don't always feel it 24/7, but it's there and I feel it most of the time.
I am also writing this to tell you that it's okay to feel frustrated, sad, depressed, anxious, to grieve, or to feel nothing. If you're on the spiritual path, yet you don't feel spiritual or haven't found bliss, it's okay. We are meant to feel the good, the bad, the ugly and the BEAUTY. In order for the seed to grow, be in the light, and become beautiful, it had to be covered in dirt and kept in darkness.
This is how I look at life. We have to experience it all in order to grow and become beautiful. Thank you all for making this life worthwhile.

My Secret to Healing
I can't promise that it will work the same for you, but I know what heals me... actually, WHO heals me; my son.
It's amazing how EVERYTHING changed when my son's physical manifestation came to be. This includes when the pregnancy test confirmed that he was really here. I have never loved somebody so much in my whole life. Having and loving your own child is a great example of unconditional love. Unconditional love is the key to life.
My son IS my life. I do everything for him and I even do things for myself and others now because of him. If anybody thought I treated my wife like a queen before; well now I treat her like a goddess. Haha!
If he is not with me at a certain moment (at work etc.), all I have to do is think about him and my energy changes. For example; for the past couple of days my right eyebrow had been twitching non-stop. About two hours ago, I got fed up with this annoyance. Self healing was the only option I had. I've learned that loving yourself and your body is the key to health and healing. If you send love to a part of your body that is in pain or not functioning properly, healing will occur.
I had to get myself into a state of pure unconditional love. I thought about my son, the things he does, the love he sends, and the love I send to him. I thought about playing with, holding, cuddling, and kissing him. His infinite energy puts me into that state of pure unconditional love. Once I had gotten into this state, I knew I was ready to send love to my twitching eye. This is exactly what I did. I told that part of my body that I love and appreciate what it does for me; that it helps me see the world and experience life. Almost instantly, it stopped. Not only that, but my sinus cavity cleared as well. Apparently there was a connection between the two.
A couple of days of a twitchy eye now gone! I owe it all to my baby boy.
Thank you Braeden. I love you so much. You make my world go 'round!

You Predict the Present Moment; A Skeptical Analysis on Fortune Telling
That's right. You can only predict NOW moments. What does that mean exactly?
I'll start off with this; you can't predict the future. Nobody can. As spiritual as I am, I have a hard time believing psychics, especially fortune tellers. I'm open to the idea of individuals who can talk to the "dead" or can see things happening in another part of the world. Fortune tellers HAVE to be liars or confused individuals who think they can see future events.
Think of well known psychics, channelers or intuitives like Sylvia Browne or JZ Knight. I won't deny that they have some talents (I only say talents due to the possibility of them either acting or being great mentalists), but any future even that they ever predicted never came true. They try to save themselves with some elaborate excuse, but never admit that they were wrong.
When you think of possible future events like getting a promotion or telling a friend some bad news, you either get happy, excited, sad or anxious. Those feelings rise up in the present moment and you have no idea how the situation will turn out. There is no reason to fret about possible future events. Those possible future events are only THOUGHTS. They are not predictions, just THOUGHTS. Thinking about the future may makes you anxious. Also, thinking about the past may make you depressed.
All-in-all, the past and future do no exist. If you are attached to either or both, you FORGIVE THE PAST and CREATE YOUR FUTURE. How? By living in the present moment. Just don't become attached to negative thoughts. Give up hope for a better past and pray affirmatively. Pray as if something you want or need is coming into your life right now and that you're happy and grateful that it is happening. That's all it takes. It's simple, but not easy. As ironic as it may sound, practice this simple difficulty with ease.
I'll end this post with a quote from Back to the Future 3. After traveling to the past and future events, Doc Brown finally made sense of his travels. IT'S ALL CAUSE AND EFFECT:
"Your future hasn't been written yet. No one's has. Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one."

Never Give Up
An important lesson to be learned when you have a burning passion is that you should never give up on it. People "settle" because they feel they failed at going for their dream or it just isn't realistic. The story of Thomas Edison is a remarkable one. People of his time thought the light bulb was impossible; could not be done. It took the man 10,000 tries but on number 10,000 low and behold there was light!
Any biography of successful individuals show that there is a key to their success. Read up on Walt Disney, Andrew Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, etc. That key is PERSISTENCE. They NEVER GAVE UP. I've been witnessing some of my friends and family including myself persist and do you know what happens? Success!
If you want to witness this on a smaller scale, do some mundane tasks; for example like cleaning your house and concentrate on that only. I guarantee you will finish it. Then step it up a bit; paint your living room, a project that you've been putting to the side for months or even years. When that's finished, step it up again! What if you wanted to learn the piano? You know you'd have to take lessons so you decide to take lessons and even practice on your own and possibly by a keyboard or digital piano. You learn scales, octaves, keys, then songs! Before you know it, you're a piano player. So step it up again! Go for that position at work you've been dreaming of or start working toward another type of career goal you've always dreamed of. Just be persistent. I can guarantee that you'll either get there or will get something or somewhere better than you could ever imagine.

The meaning of life is putting meaning into life. Everybody has a life purpose. I know mine. Ever since I started surrendering to life and going with the tao, everything has been unfolding around me and I see the truth in all things and ...beings. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING has been going better than I ever planned it to be. By just putting my thoughts, feelings and actions toward my goals and living my life filled with love does miracles. Never give up, be persistent and don't let others influence you to go another direction because they think what you're doing is a bad idea or you won't make enough money, etc. I can only sum up what I'm saying in these words;
"when the wind does blow against the grain, you must follow your heart."
"when the wind does blow against the grain, you must follow your heart."

Moving On
Are there events in your past that affect your life right now? I know too much about this subject. I lost somebody very close to me years ago. He left the human experience and made his transformation by choice. I hardly moved on from it. It wasn't until the recent couple of years that I learned to move on.
This practice of moving on is the art of forgiveness and this is what I learned; forgiveness is giving up hope for a better past. It's about being thankful that you survived an uncomfortable or a horrible experience. It's not necessarily about being thankful that you experienced it, yet some situations are a learning experience. Forgiveness is a very easy concept, but a difficult practice.
You have to think of a previous experience as something that happened in the past and in the past only. You survived that experience and you're living in the future of that experience. You're here living RIGHT NOW. When a thought comes up of that past experience just remember that it's JUST A THOUGHT. Do not become emotionally attached to it. Attachment is ego. Go from mind-full to mindful (which is complete awareness of the present moment).
When you forgive somebody, it doesn't mean that you accept what that person did as something right or you now want a better relationship with that person (although in some situations you might choose to). What it means is that you have moved on, are not letting the thought of that situation affect you and living in the now.
I had to learn to forgive him. It took years to figure out how, but once I understood this true concept of forgiveness, I became liberated. I forgive all people and experiences that were uncomfortable and/or horrible, moved on, and living in the beautiful present moment.

STAGES OF CONSCIOUSNESS
Each of us goes through life with a different perspective on our relationship with the world around us. I don't want to say that most of us feel like victims on this plane of existence, but that is what I mostly see. Questions and criticisms arise in our individual self consciousness like "why does this always happen to me?" and "I never have any luck".
The majority think that outside circumstances are the cause of their negative results. I can't blame anybody for thinking in this manner. In this society, we are taught "what you see is what you get". Statements like these limit us to seeing what is happening only in the world "out there". What about the world in here?
The New Testament states that "it is done unto you as you believe". I know I'm quoting the Bible here and that there is always controversy when it comes to religion. I need to make this statement right now; Jesus should not be looked upon as the great exception, but the great example of human potential. He was teaching us that what you believe within becomes your reality without.
Scientists, psychologists, neuroscientists, quantum physicists and teachers of the 20th and 21st century have and are researching human consciousness and belief. It is becoming clear that "it is done unto you as you believe". Examples of scientific research are studies on neuroplasticity, wave function collapse, quantum computing of microtubules in cytoskeleton of the brain, DMT, quantum entanglement, mind-body connection, the double-slit experiment, etc.
Great spiritual teachings also tell us that Spirit works in, through, around, for, and as us. That we must pray affirmatively and meditate to understand this great truth. I'm reading a book right now called Life Visioning by Michael Beckwith. He claims that the four stages of consciousness are TO ME, TO IT, THROUGH ME, and AS ME. These translate to Victim Consciousness, Manifester Consciousness, Channel Consciousness, and Being Consciousness. Victim Consciousness states that things happen to me, Manifester states that I create my life circumstances and attract all the material posessions I want with ease, Channel states that we live in ultimate surrender to Spirit and that God works through us, and Being states that there is no egoic self and that I am one with God. You can go from Victim Consciousness to Being Consciousness by practicing meditation, affirmations, visualization and visioning.
As you can see, having a strong belief in your inner spirit and knowing that the outside world is an effect and the inner world is a cause will accelerate your evolutionary growth.
Namaste.

Here are a couple of quotes from one of my very influential spiritual teachers, Ernest Holmes. Know that you are that divine presence that works through us.
"The Spirit within me, which is God, the Living Spirit Almighty, is Perfection. It is Wholeness; It is Peace. It is Divine Guidance, perfect peace, Complete Wholeness, Absolute Perfection, and right now, this moment, this Spirit governs every act of my life. It surrounds me with Light, in which there is no darkness, no gloom, no heaviness and no fear. In this Light, I live and move and have my being. And this Light dispels all darkness and casts out all fear.
"This Divine Wisdom within me guides every act, directs everything in my life, toward happiness, toward peace, toward power; and being the Spirit of Love, It surrounds me with beauty, with friendship and with joy. Being the giver of Life, every day I receive that which is perfect, abundant, happy, joyful and free. Being that Divine Thing which individualizes in me, It is entirely individual, personal and unique. I am the expression of my own complete self, and there is no barrier or bar to that self-expression. Being the Spirit of Substance, that Spirit within me is the Father of Supply, and it brings to me everything necessary to my unfoldment, and keeps me in the wisdom through which It governs me, now and forever."

Welcome all! Thank you so much for checking out my blog. This blog was created for you.
There is much more to life than what we touch, see, feel, or hear; a dimension and presence which lies beyond our three dimensional perspective. This dimension and presence is so much closer and potent than once thought. This dimension I mention is Heaven, the presence is God.
Now hear me out. I know this is starting to sound very religious-like with the mention of Heaven and God. I'm not talking about these divine properties in a way which they are separate from us. What I'm trying to say is that they are within us. Why would I make such a statement as this? Because what I've learned is that Heaven is a state of mind and God is a presence that penetrates all. You can believe in God in any way you want (this includes a non-belief) and God is referred to in many names. I personally don't believe in a giant white-bearded man in the clouds that judges all human beings. What I believe in is an infinite judgeless presence of intelligence, creativity, and unconditional love. A presence of ONE. This concludes that there is no such thing as hell or the devil. What a relief!
This Universal Intelligence flows in, through, around, for, and AS us. From what you have read, you can see that we have a pivotal role in Universal Intelligence. Our role is that we are INDIVIDUALIZED EXPRESSIONS OF GOD. If this is true, why do we feel separate from God, each other, and/or anything else within our Universal realm? The answer is EGO. Ego is the false sense of self that we are separate from everything and that we must fight only for ourselves. This is the cause of materialism, attachment, selfishness, loneliness, depression, war... I think you get the picture. Dr. Wayne dyer says E.G.O. is EDGING GOD OUT. Just know that we are not separate from all, we just FEEL separate from all.
There are many ways to feel connected to our innermost self which is the oneness with all. These activites include meditation, visualization, visioning, affirmative prayer, affirmations, self-hypnosis, etc. These aren't the only activities out there to feel connected. You may find one or more that work for you.
I'm here to guide you into feeling one with all and to manifest your innermost desires. This is a space of enlightenment and peace. I will post more in-depth teachings of great spiritual principles to attain oneness and manifesting desires. Until then, research great spiritual teachings like Metaphysics, Transcendentalism, New Thought, Baghavad Gita, Vedanta, Alchemy, Mindfulness, etc. Also research the teachers like Siddhartha, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, Phineas Parkhurst Quimby, Ernest Holmes, Deepak Chopra, Michael Beckwith, Louise Hay, Eckhart Tolle, Dr. Wayne Dyer, etc.
Thank you with love.
